We are a Safe Church

At Cowra Baptist Church we take seriously our responsibility to provide protection and a safe environment for all people. We believe that God puts value on each and every person made in His image, and that we have a God given responsibility and calling to love and care for each as a reflection of God’s love for us. This is especially important for those who are more easily overlooked and targets of various types of abuse.

Our Safe Church Policy takes into consideration all vulnerable people in our church, whether they be children, young people, elderly, those with disabilities or the emotionally and or spiritually vulnerable.

As part of this procedure each of our ministry leaders are required to attend “Creating Safe Spaces” training and complete a “Working with Children Check”.
